About Us

The Metropolitan School of the Arts (MSA) is a non-profit performing arts organization offering classes, experiences, and performances in dance, music, and theater for students of all ages for extracurricular, pre-professional, and daytime training opportunities.

Our mission is to change the world by inspiring and supporting students, faculty, and staff to reach their fullest potential as artists, innovators, and generous citizens.

Areas of Study

MSA students may pursue multiple genres of dance including: ballet, contemporary, hip hop, jazz, tap, and more in a supportive and creative environment focused on high quality training and performances. Musically, students can study drums, guitar, piano, violin, voice, and more with highly qualified instructors and may participate in multiple performance events. Theater opportunities include workshops, classes, coaching and performances in acting, improv, musical theatre.

MSA students are surrounded and supported by passionate and invested faculty, visiting artists, and staff with whom they’ll collaborate and learn in the classroom, the studio, and on stage.
